Camp and Furnace says “unfortunately” while issuing a statement

Camp and Furnace issued a statement saying “unfortunately” after a fluke saw its event wrongly listed. The entertainment venue is set to host an event dedicated to all things Sabrina Carpenter and Olivia Rodgrio – two American singers and actresses.

The Liverpool event, held later this year, coincides with Sabrina, best known for her songs Espresso and Please Please Please, embarking on her ‘Short n Sweet’ tour. The date for the Camp and Furnace tribute night, Friday, August 23rd, “somehow” managed to appear on Sabrina’s “official” website as a tour date. Camp and Furnace have confirmed that this will not be the case.

The company said: “We were aware that somehow our night celebrating the music of Sabrina Carpenter and Olivia Rodrigo ended up on Sabrina Carpenter’s website as a tour date.

“Unfortunately, this is ‘nonsense’ and @sabrinacarpenter is not currently attending. “Please, please,” keep this in mind when buying tickets. Love from the camp and the oven. PS @sabrinacarpenter there is an open invite if you want to attend or add this as a tour date.”

Sabrina, who dates Barry Keoghan from Saltburn, has 31 shows as part of her upcoming tour – as it is, none of them are in the UK. However, this week fans were convinced he would be coming to Manchester’s Co-op Live after a series of images – a red lipstick print on a pink background – were projected at venues across the UK.

Until then, music lovers can enjoy Sabrina’s tunes at the Baltic Triangle location. Tickets can be purchased here.
