A 21-year-old man has been released on bail

Police have charged a fourth person in connection with an alleged stabbing in a Leicester park.

An 18-year-old man suffered stab wounds in an incident in Braunstone Park earlier this month.

A 21-year-old man was arrested on Saturday on suspicion of attempted murder and has since been released on bail.

Police were called to the park shortly after 3pm on Thursday, May 2 following a report that an 18-year-old man had been stabbed.

Following initial inquiries, a 26-year-old man and two 21-year-old men were arrested. They were later released on bail.
