PBA Trade: Terrafirma Acquires Brent Paraiso from NorthPort; Rain or Shine sends pick Miguel Corteza to Blackwater

Terrafirma and NorthPort did not finish moving personnel before the 49th season of the PBA.

Just days after being featured in the biggest trade of the offseason so far, Terrafirma isn’t done moving pieces on its roster.

Dyip on Thursday, July 18, acquired the services of lightly used guard Brent Paraiso from NorthPort.

In exchange, Terrafirma offered a second-round pick in the PBA Season 51 draft.

Paraiso will join a Dyip backcourt that features the likes of former conference MVP Stanley Pringle and All-Star Juami Tiongson.

A few days earlier, Pringle was sent to Terrafirma from Ginebra along with former Finals MVP Christian Standhardinger for Stephen Holt and Isaac Go in a blockbuster trade that also included a change in the order of draft.

Meanwhile, Rain or Shine sent 20th overall pick Miguel Corteza to Blackwater for a second-round pick in Season 51.

The Elasto Painters are considered the winners of the recent draft after taking Caelan Tiongson and “true guard” Felix Lemetti in the first round.
