Yes, you read that right. Manchester City finally announced their first arrival of the 2024 summer transfer window on Thursday!

A glamorous unveiling by Brazil international Savinho sent Manchester City fans into a frenzy on social media as the club secured the signing of their new number 26, taking over from Riyad Mahrez, who left for Saudi Arabia in the summer past.

But the main stream of stories has centered around potential departures, with talk of two other loan deals emerging this week, but not until after the upcoming pre-season tour of the United States – which starts early next week.

Savinho signed a five-year contract at Manchester City until the summer of 2029 in a deal worth an initial £21m for Savio, which could rise to £33.6m with add-ons. (Official)
