Peter Andre admits shock about Buckingham Palace visit

Peter Andre has revealed he was never asked back to Buckingham Palace following a rather embarrassing blunder. The “Mysterious Girl” singer revealed the cringe-worthy incident during a recent interview where she shared the details of her visit to the Royal House.

Peter was originally invited by the Prince’s Trust to the grand palace, but the trip ended in dismay after he accidentally damaged expensive decor, the Mirror reports. He didn’t say the incident led to a ban, but he hasn’t been back since.

He said: “Put it this way, I haven’t had any invitations back. I was invited there by the Prince’s Trust and I was telling a joke when I spilled my black coffee and it stained this beautiful red carpet.”

Recalling the incident in detail to The Times, Peter said: “One of the staff joked: ‘One square meter of this carpet costs more than your house.’ I laughed, but I was devastated.”

Peter added: “As we left, a security guard at the front gate said: ‘Her Majesty will not be happy.’ They all knew about it before they left the building.”
