Bike worth hundreds of pounds stolen from garage at home

An investigation has been launched after a £300 bicycle was stolen from a garage in Truro. Devon and Cornwall Police say thieves broke into the garage of a property in the Kenwyn Hill area between 11pm on July 12 and 4am the following morning.

The offenders stole a red and black Forme road bike worth £300 and also targeted the owner’s car, stealing a small amount of cash. Police investigating the burglary are appealing for anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious in the area at the time.




They are particularly keen to hear from anyone with CCTV or doorbell footage who may have caught the incident or who was offered the bike for sale.

In a statement, the force said: “Police are appealing for witnesses and CCTV footage following a burglary in Truro. The offenders broke into the garage of a property in the Kenwyn Hill area between 11pm on July 12 and 4am the following day.

“They stole a red and black Forme road bike worth £300 (pictured) and also targeted the owner’s car, stealing a small amount of cash. Officers are investigating the burglary and are appealing for anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious in the area at the time.
