A new identity

The Guerrilla 450 has a neo-retro design evident in the style of the fuel tank with offset fuel cap or side section and thin tail. It looks distinctive and should have more road presence than its rival, the Triumph Speed ​​400. Also, what will ensure that you don’t go unnoticed are the bold colors that the bike comes with. Gold Dip, Gold Ribbon and Brava Blue are the colors that are particularly striking.

Features galore

The bike is available in three variants. The Analogue, Dash and Flash. The base variant gets an analogue digital dial and an optional Tripper navigation bridge. The top variants have a TFT color display with Bluetooth connectivity and Google based navigation. It’s a more modern and sharper looking unit. All variants benefit from LED lighting and two-channel ABS as standard.

Sherpa Power

The Guerrilla 450 has the same 452cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled Sherpa engine as the Himalayan. It produces 39.50 PS at 8,000 rpm and 40 Nm at 5,500 rpm. It is mated to a six-speed gearbox. Royal Enfield has, however, changed the gearing to suit the street bike application.

Hardware

Unlike its competition, the Triumph Speed ​​400 which gets a USD fork, the Guerrilla 450 has a conventional telescopic fork. This 43mm unit has 140mm of travel. At the rear, there’s a preload-adjustable monoshock. The suspension is attached to a tubular frame that uses the engine as a tension member.

Price

The analogue variant is priced at Rs 2.39 lakh. The mid-spec Dash variant costs Rs 2.49 lakh, while the top-spec Flash variant will lighten your wallet by Rs 2.54 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom.
