The biosimilar company leases 10,000 sq. ft. in Bridgewater in agreement with KRE, says Avison Young – Real Estate NJ

A global life sciences company has taken nearly 10,000 square feet in a Bridgewater office building in a new deal announced by Avison Young.

According to the brokerage team, the location at 685 Route 202/206 will serve as Biocon Biologics’ first North American headquarters. The fully integrated global biosimilars company occupied its three-story, 139,000-square-foot building this month under a lease with Kushner Real Estate Group, benefiting from the site’s access to a number of area freeways.

Avison Young principal Drew Persson represented the tenant in the 9,624-square-foot deal. Justin Gingeleskie, William O’Keefe and Charles Parmelli of Cushman & Wakefield represented the property.

“Critical to our success has been working closely with KRE with their pedigree and experience to accelerate the execution and delivery of the space for Biocon Biologics,” said Persson. “Our goal was to quickly find a space that aligned with Biocon Biologics’ expectations in terms of amenities, property quality and preferred geography and begin operations immediately.”
