Liverpool transfer news LIVE Update Nico Williams, Adrien Rabiot wanted, Preston friendly

Didi Hamann spoke, more specifically at www.topoffshorecasinos.com

He believes Liverpool should do a lot in the transfer window.

Starting with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, tomatoes should be for him

He said:

It is very difficult to choose between Gordon and Kvaratskhelia. I don’t think there is much between the players.

The fact that Gordon has done it in the Premier League is big. I’ve seen very good players come into the Premier League and they couldn’t, it wasn’t too fast for them, it was too physical for them.

So I would probably lean towards Gordon. But if Salah were to leave, perhaps there is an opportunity to get both.

Riccardo Calafiori, do you remember him? Arsenal appear to be at the front of the queue and are edging closer to his signature. It doesn’t matter, according to Didi.

He added:

Riccardo Calafiori is a very good player and is so comfortable on the ball, no wonder when he missed Italy’s game against Switzerland, they put in a terrible performance.

They were terrible from start to finish, terrible. That came after he set up a last-minute equalizer against Croatia.

I think Virgil van Dijk has said he wants to stay and he wants to be with his compatriot Arne Slot, he wants to help him get back to winning ways at Liverpool.

Ibrahima Konate is a brilliant defender but has too many injuries. But Calafiori would be a very good player depending on how much he would cost. He is certainly a player who would start for Liverpool given what he did for his club last season and for his country.

He is the kind of player who improves your team and obviously that is very important when you want to challenge for trophies.

And a word that rhymes with should…could (well done to those who answered correctly). Anthony Gordon could be the next Mohamed Salah at Liverpool.

Hamann said:

Nobody really knew what to expect when Liverpool signed Mohamed Salah, on the other hand, we saw Anthony Gordon make a huge impact in the Premier League.

He did that at Everton even when they were in trouble and after a difficult start at Newcastle he battled to the end and is one of their best players now.

I read somewhere that Liverpool is his boyhood club and I think it would be a brilliant signing, looks like Newcastle might need to sell a few players this summer too.

So Gordon would be great. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has been mentioned from Napoli who said he wants to leave the club. But then it obviously depends on what Salah does.

It has been said in recent years that this is his last season and that he will go in the summer. So obviously we have to find out and see what happens but I think Gordon would be a brilliant signing because obviously going forward if you have pace it just changes games.

He’s had a brilliant season for Newcastle and we need someone to step up and score those goals in big games because if you look at the last three years or so with Diogo Jota, Darwin Nunes and Luis Diaz, they’ve all -they did well, but you could. you only rely on Salah when the chips are down.

Gordon could potentially fill that role.
