Wakefield Trinity make Hull KR man their fifth Super League signing

It has been confirmed that Hall has joined the club on a three-year deal, with the 21-year-old returning to the club he left midway through last season.

Wakefield Trinity shared news of the re-signing via their website and social media channels with Hall, 21, returning after just over a year away from Belle Vue.

He made just 10 appearances during his time at Hull KR and is currently on loan at Castleford Tigers, with the Robins having plenty of depth in the position after signing the likes of Oliver Gildart, Peta Hiku and Jack Broadbent.

Trinity announced Hall’s arrival in a statement confirming their pride in seeing the 21-year-old return to the club.

It read: “Wakefield Trinity are proud to welcome Corey Hall back to the club from the start of the 2025 season!

“The young 21-year-old has agreed a three-year contract with the club, meaning he will be in the red, white and blue until the end of the 2027 season.”

On his return to Wakefield, Corey Hall said: “I’m delighted to have re-signed for Wakefield as it’s a club close to my heart and my family’s heart, where I started. The exciting development of the club provides the perfect opportunity for me to work with the boys and staff to build something special.”

Trinity head coach Daryl Powell said: “Corey is a player whose career I have followed for a long time. He is an outstanding defender who has had so much growth in him and will add to the outstanding British defender we have created for clubs in the near future. He is strong, athletic, skilled and a great defender. I look forward to working with him to enhance his rich potential.”
