Leicester City Women sign Belgian international Sari Kees

Leicester City have signed 23-year-old Belgium international defender Sari Kees from OH Leuven on a three-year deal.

She represented her country 28 times and helped Leuven to three consecutive second-place finishes in the Belgian Women’s Superliga.

Speaking to LCFC.com, Kees said: “It is a very big opportunity for me to come here from OH Leuven. I’ve been here twice with Leuven and the vibes were really good. Now I have the chance to play here and I can’t wait to start.

“In this league, every weekend you have another competitive game to look forward to. A lot of results can be produced and it’s a nice chance for me. I like to play attractive football and fight in duels and I hope I can bring that to the team.”
