JACK Clarke was on the scoresheet for the second time in pre-season as Sunderland drew 1-1 with Nottingham Forest in Spain.

Clarke put the Black Cats ahead from the spot in the first half before Omar Richards equalized for the Premier League side after the break.

It was Clarke’s second goal – and penalty – of pre-season, following his free-kick success in last weekend’s draw at Gateshead.

After splitting his first team for last weekend’s friendly, Regis Le Bris has named what he could consider to be his strongest squad, perhaps offering some clues as the Championship season approaches.
