Mercedes truck seized after delivery driver failed to take out insurance policy

A DELIVERY driver’s Mercedes-Benz van was impounded by the police after the vehicle’s insurance policy was not taken out.

The van was stopped on Gaythorne Road, near West Bowling in Bradford.

A spokesman for the Steerside Enforcement Team said: “The driver of this Mercedes-Benz van forgot to arrange his temporary insurance policy before commencing deliveries in the district.

“It stopped on Gaythorne Road. The van was impounded and the driver brought to court.”
