Millwall defender returns on loan to League 2 new boys – South London News

Millwall defender Kamarl Grant has signed up for another loan spell at Bromley.

The 21-year-old spent the final months of last season with the Ravens as they earned promotion to League Two via the National League play-offs.

Grant’s return to Andy Woodman’s side is initially pending until the January transfer window.

“Kamarl impressed starting and playing every minute during the National League play-offs as an integral part of the backline for promotion, showing an impressive degree of class,” Bromley said in an official statement.

“The 21-year-old, who penned a new deal at The Den today, began his career at the Kinetic Academy before joining the youth team of then Premier League side Sheffield United aged just 16. After two years and a loan. at Gainsborough Trinity, will join Millwall U21s.

The centre-back first arrived at Hayes Lane on loan in February and made his first start against Hartlepool United on 3 March, going on to make 13 appearances.

Grant could feature for Bromley in their friendly against Bristol Rovers on Tuesday. They then host Brighton next Saturday (2pm).
