Motorists have been warned to avoid the area following the impact as police close the road

A road has been closed due to a collision in Carmarthenshire. Dyfed-Powys Police confirmed at around 2pm on Saturday afternoon, July 20, that Ammanford Road from Blaenau Road Junction to Glynhir Road Junction in Llandybie is currently closed.

Motorists were advised to avoid the area and find an alternative route for their journey. In their post shared on X, formerly known as Twitter, the police force said: “The road is currently closed due to a collision. Please avoid the area and find alternative routes for your journey. Thank you”.
