Leeds have signed Jayden Bogle from Sheffield United on a four-year deal

Leeds United have completed the signing of Jayden Bogle from Sheffield United for an undisclosed fee.

The 23-year-old right-back has signed a four-year deal, securing his future at Elland Road until the summer of 2028.

Leeds said in a statement that everyone at the club “would like to welcome Jayden back”, confirming that he will join the rest of the squad for pre-season training in Germany.

The Athletic reported earlier this month that Leeds were interested in pursuing a deal for Bogle. They have been on the lookout for a right-back following the £40m ($51.9m) departure of Archie Gray to Tottenham Hotspur.

Bogle spent his youth career with Reading, Swindon Town and Derby County before making his professional debut for Derby in a Carabao Cup match against Oldham Athletic in the 2018–19 season. He made 40 league appearances that year, scoring twice and providing nine assists.

He went on to impress at Derby before moving to Sheffield United in 2020. Bogle made his Premier League debut in a 1–1 draw against Brighton & Hove Albion, scoring his first goal for the club in the same match.

Bogle played a crucial role in Sheffield United’s promotion back to the English top flight in the 2022-23 campaign and made 36 appearances last season, scoring three goals.

On the international stage, Bogle has represented England at Under-20 level, making his debut in a 4-0 win over Guatemala in 2019.

Bogle is Leeds’ fourth signing of the transfer window, joining Joe Rothwell on loan from Bournemouth, alongside Salford City goalkeeper Alex Cairns and Spurs defender Joe Rodon on permanent deals.
