Police scene set up after ‘woman injured in crash’ – recap

A scene unfolded following a serious incident in Bolton. A police cordon has been erected on Ivy Road in Smithills this evening (Saturday).

Greater Manchester Police vehicles were photographed at the scene. Officers were seen guarding the place.

North-West Ambulance service vehicles were also photographed, with paramedics running to the scene. It is understood a woman was injured in the crash at around 8.15pm.

She was taken to the hospital. The extent of her injuries is not yet known.
