A man has been arrested after an alleged knife attack in Warwickshire.

Police were called just before midnight yesterday (July 19) to reports of a serious assault on Rowland Avenue in Studley.

Two boys were allegedly attacked with a bladed weapon and had injuries that required hospital treatment.

A 40-year-old man from Studley has been arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning grievous bodily harm.

DI Buckley said that “It appears that first aid was given to the boys who sustained injuries by members of the public before the ambulance arrived, for which we sincerely thank them.”
