Bristol: Man seriously injured by kick after Euro final

Det Con Emily Barber said: “The victim continues to receive treatment in hospital and we are determined to give his loved ones answers about what happened.

“We hope the public can help us identify the man, who is shown on CCTV wearing a red England football shirt, for this reason.

“The incident happened hours after England were defeated in the Euro 2024 final, so there were still a large number of people in the area watching the game.

“We believe there may be witnesses who have not yet come forward, perhaps because they did not realize the seriousness of the incident at first, but we would now like to encourage them to contact us.”
