Cornwall’s Love Island heartthrob kicked out of villa in shock episode

Cornish bombshell Konnor Ewudzi has been booted from the Love Island villa in a shock twist. In tonight’s episode (Wednesday July 17), couple Lolly Hart and Konnor Ewudzi found themselves saying goodbye to the villa.

In the shocking twist, fellow islander Nicole Samuel was tasked with choosing which couple to evict from the villa. A tearful Nicole decided to put an end to Lolly and Konnor’s journey to find love as she and her partner Ciaran were voted favorite couple.

Fans had to wait a full 24 hours to see if Lolly and Konnor, Grace and Reuben or Jess and Ayo would be eliminated. Sadly, the Cornish rugby player and model was thrown off the island.

Konnor walked into the Love Island villa like a bombshell with Matilda-June Draper on Wednesday, June 19. However, the Cornish heartthrob’s chance of finding love ended as he was dumped from the villa with partner Lolly.

While in the villa, Konnor bonded with Grace Jackson and Emma Milton, but they both decided it was just friendship.

The Cornish native, who has been single for a year and a half, is a hairdresser and rugby player, playing for St Austell RFC. Before changing his Instagram bio to “I’m off to find love in the @loveisland villa”, his Instagram read: “Cuts hair and chats jibber-jabber”, showing a glimpse of his charming personality.

As he stepped into the villa, Konnor introduced himself saying, “Ready to find the love of my life, I’m not afraid to break up any couples. We’re all here for one reason, and we’re here to find love.”

Taking to Twitter, now X, viewers were quick to react to the dramatic scenes, with one person saying: “Konnor was such a lovely guy and I feel a bit bad for Lolly that he was only there for a short time # LoveIsland”.

Another person said: “Konnor and Lolly deserved to stay in the villa. He worked so hard to find a connection and now he finally did, he’s been sent home! #loveIsland.”

A third wrote: “Konnor and Lolly are thrown off #loveisland” with heartbroken emojis, while another added: “Shut up for Konnor, such a genuinely good person.”
