The Reds rule out selling the Barcelona target but are ready to sanction two alternative exits

Liverpool are not ready to sell Luiz Diaz this summer, but the club have been tipped to accept bids for two other players in this transfer window.

Arne Slot has a lot of important decisions to make before next season, and one of them concerns the future of Diaz, who has been linked with Barcelona and PSG.

Diaz himself has claimed he is “happy” at Anfieldthough that hasn’t stopped exit talks from intensifying in recent weeks.

The Colombian winger is under contract until 2027 and it was previously claimed that the Reds would be looking for a fee of around £75m to sell him this summer.

However, new developments have since claimed that Liverpool have no intention of selling the 27-year-old anytime soon.

Conformable Caught offsideLiverpool have “clearly communicated” to Diaz’s agent that the club have no intention of selling the winger.

Along with Barcelona and PSG, Al Ahli of the Saudi Pro League have also sniffed Diaz, although Liverpool are not prepared to sell him at this stage.

Those claims have also been backed up by Liverpool journalist Ian Doyle, who claims the Reds would only be willing to sell Diaz if the club have a replacement ready.

“Perhaps the most important potential exit is Luis Diaz,” Doyle said Liverpool Echo.

“Paris Saint-Germain and, more pertinently, Barcelona have been linked with a long-standing interest, with the player’s father making no secret of his desire for the winger to one day play in Spain.

“Liverpool would want around £75m for the Colombian and would only sanction the sale once they have a replacement ready.”

While an exit for Diaz doesn’t appear to be on the cards, the club is willing to accept offers for Nat Phillips and Tyler Morton. Football Insider.

Morton spent last season on loan with Hull City and the 21-year-old has impressed during his spell in the Championship.

While the Reds look set to lose the starting midfielder, they will only accept a “significant” fee if they are to sell him permanently this summer.

The club are also prepared to accept offers for Phillips who spent the second half of last season on loan with Cardiff City.

The centre-back has just one year left on his contract with Liverpool and this could be their last chance to land a decent fee for the 27-year-old.
