A38 live updates as crash causes long delays on busy road near Sutton-in-Ashfield

A busy A-road in Nottinghamshire is blocked in both directions due to a crash this afternoon (Sunday July 21). The A38 Kings Mill Road East is currently blocked between the B6022 Station Road and the B6021 in Sutton-in-Ashfield.

The collision involved two vehicles and is causing queues in the area, traffic monitoring website Inrix says. Google Live Traffic Maps shows significant congestion on the A38, which links the M1 to Sutton-in-Ashfield and Mansfield.

Inrix states: “Inrix A38 Kings Mill Road East both ways blocked, traffic queued due to accident, two vehicles involved from B6022 Station Road to B6021.”
