The transfer decision took the loanee from Nottingham Forest after a disappointing move

Gonzalo Montiel looks set to be on the move this summer after a disappointing loan spell at Nottingham Forest.

Montiel joined the Reds on loan last season from Sevilla but struggled to make an impact in the Premier League as they avoided relegation to the Championship.




And according to elsevillista, Sevilla are now looking to part company despite impressing in the Copa America with Argentina.

Galatasary are said to be a potential destination for the defender and business could be done for around £6million.

Sevilla have plenty of options in Montiel’s positions with Juanlu Sánchez and Jose Angel Carmona meaning they are happy to part company.

The 27-year-old’s last appearance for Forest came in the 2-1 win at Burnley on 19 May. He made 19 appearances in total for the Reds, 14 of them coming in the Premier League.
