Four people found dead in car after collision in Gloucestershire

Four people have died following a collision in Gloucestershire in the early hours of this morning. Police described the victims as “four men” and they were found dead inside the car which had left the road and collided with a tree.

It happened on the A436 in Ullenwood, near Cheltenham. The fatal collision involved a vehicle, a black Renault Clio, with a police patrol, which ran into the incident shortly before 2am, Sky News reports.

A Gloucestershire Police spokesman said: “The vehicle left the road and collided with a tree and four men who were inside the vehicle died. The vehicle left the road and collided with a tree and four men who were inside the vehicle. they were deceased”.

Anyone with information about the collision is asked to contact police. The road is still closed in both directions between the A417 Air Balloon roundabout and Severn Springs while an investigation is underway.

Many people from the area will be traveling to the Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF Fairfield for its final day today (Sunday 21 July).
