Four dead after car crashes into tree in early hours crash

Four people were found dead in a car after it crashed into a tree. The victims, all men, were discovered by police on patrol on the A436 in Ullenwood, Gloucestershire, in the early hours of Sunday.

A Gloucestershire Police spokesman said: “Just before 2am, police on patrol came across a single vehicle collision involving a black Renault Clio. The vehicle had left the road and collided with a tree, and four men inside the vehicle were dead.

“Urgent work is underway to identify all those involved and notify their next of kin. The road remains closed in both directions between the A417 Air Balloon roundabout and Severn Springs while the collision investigation continues.
