The cause of the garage fire is under investigation

The cause of a garage fire in Christchurch on Sunday is under investigation.

Fire and Emergency NZ crews were called to the fire at a property on Munich Pl in Bromley at around 12.30pm.

A police spokesman said Chris Lynch Media they would “make inquiries along with Fenz” about the fire.

The garage was “on fire” when the first two crews arrived on the scene and a third crew was called to help with the fire, Fenz said.

The fire did not spread to the house or nearby properties.
