In a race to play again this season, England boss Gareth Southgate said last week he was “hopeful” the right-back would have some time to compete for Euro 2024.

But no time frame has been set for his return at this time.

Chelsea have been without Colwill for the last three games after he injured his toe.

No time frame has yet been set for the England defender’s return, with the club’s latest update indicating his “rehabilitation program” is continuing.

He will sit out this month’s internationals as fans wait for more detailed news on Colwill’s issue from Chelsea and manager Mauricio Pochettino.

Pochettino said at the end of February that Nkunku’s injury could keep him out for three to four weeks.

Chelsea labeled the Frenchman as “continuing to do his rehabilitation program” ahead of the Leicester game.
