Leicester City’s first-choice goalkeeper has entered Chelsea’s transfer radar

Even though they already have Robert Sanchez and Djordje Petrovic in the goalkeeper position, ChelseaEnzo Maresca continues his search for new faces, targeting Mads Hermansen from promoted side Leicester City.

Enzo Maresca, who seems to lack confidence in Chelsea’s two goalkeepers, Robert Sanchez and Djordje Petrovic, has made him want to try to bring in a new goalkeeper in the 2024 summer transfer window.

Several names have been rumoured, including Andriy Lunin and Giorgi Mamardashvili, but now Evening Standard Football report that Mads Hermansen appears to be a priority for the Blues.

Hermansen, indeed, still seems to sound foreign to public ears. However, Maresca already clearly knows his quality, having worked with him when he was still the manager of The Foxes.

So Maresca also looks set to try to convince Hermansen to reunite with him at Stamford Bridge in the 2024/25 season. Currently, Leicester City are also opening the option to release the Danish goalkeeper.

If they are to negotiate, the Blues must be willing to spend at least £45 million, or the equivalent of 942 billion rupiah.
