Kier starts £48m job at Ealing High School




As part of the £48m project, the existing school buildings on the site will be demolished to make way for the new facility which it will accommodate over 1,130 students.

David Rowsell, managing director TO Kier Construction London, said that the new school will be designed and built on two phases, USING Kier’s K-School design platform, and will be zero carbon in its operation.

It will consist of thermally efficient buildingS, incorporating the use of ground source heat pump technology, and green roofS with photovoltaic panels.

New easyities Vol also be available for community use, inclusiveEng Outdoor sports field, A three yards multifunctional games area; Aamphitheater with covered canopy, cINEM, Aactivity Sstudio and fitness Rooms.
