Man charged with attempted murder after boys injured in ‘bladed weapon’ attack in Studley

A man has been charged with attempted murder after two boys were seriously injured in an attack with “bladed weapons”. Warwickshire Police said Dale Gardiner, 40, of nearby High Street in Studley, has been charged with a number of offences.

These included section 18 wounding with intent; attempted murder; and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place. The charges follow an incident on Saturday, July 19, during which two boys were attacked with a bladed weapon on Rowland Avenue in Studley.



The two were seriously injured and needed hospital treatment. Gardiner was due to appear at Coventry Magistrates’ Court today, Monday, July 22.
