The Robin Hood Half Marathon route has been confirmed for 2024 after record numbers

With ten weeks to go until the Robin Hood Half Marathon, organizers have revealed the racecourse and jersey design for 2024. After a record number of entries, up to 10,000 participants will take part in the race on Sunday 29 September. .

This year’s city-wide course will remain unchanged from 2023 due to its overwhelming popularity. It will start and finish at Victoria Embankment, but over the course of 13.1 miles, runners will go in and around the city, as well as past Nottingham Castle and Wollaton Park.




The jersey design for the upcoming race celebrates Nottingham’s rich heritage and features the iconic stags inspired by the city’s coat of arms and Wollaton Park. Judith Manson, race director, said: “This event celebrates the unity of Nottingham’s running community and showcases the spirit of camaraderie among participants of all ages and abilities.

“We are excited to provide an unforgettable race day experience for our runners and residents alike.” The Robin Hood Half Marathon and Mini Marathons showcase Nottingham’s community spirit and the city’s dedication to fitness and wellbeing.

Due to exceptional demand this year, people are advised to register their interest early as adjustments to participant limits may be required.
