Barbour is to open a new ‘heritage’ concept store in Victoria Leeds

Barbour is set to open a new 2,679 sq ft store in Victoria Leeds “in the coming months” – the brand’s first “heritage” design concept outside of London.

Located at 9-11 King Edward Street in the Victoria Quarter and spread over two floors, the new store will showcase Barbour’s menswear and womenswear collections in the Grade II listed unit, “presenting an industrial yet refined space that beckons brand mastery”.

Rachel Bradburn, Leasing Director at Victoria Leeds, which is owned and operated by Redical, said: “Victoria Leeds has always been a home for top British and independent brands, but since Redical’s new ownership, we have seen a significant change .

“Our impressive performance so far this year, along with the arrival of prestigious brands such as Barbour with their newest concept store, exemplifies this drive.

“This latest signing is yet another example of Victoria Leeds being the destination of choice for high caliber brands looking for a premium location with a proven loyal customer base. We are very excited about the opening of the new Barbour store later this summer!”

The news follows the recent announcement that responsibly made contemporary semi-fine jewelery brand Missoma will open a 2,250 sq m store in Victoria Leeds this summer, adding to its first UK store in London.
