No BCCI-PCB dialogue on Champions Trophy 2025 at ICC Annual Conference

The four-day International Cricket Council (ICC) annual conference concluded in Colombo today and there was no discussion on the Champions Trophy 2025. The matter was not on the agenda of today’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) and no there were discussions not even on the sidelines.

“It was not on the agenda, so it was not brought up or discussed during the AGM,” says an official who attended the AGM.

A senior official of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), who was present in Colombo for all four days, confirmed that there was no dialogue between the BCCI and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) regarding the Champions Trophy.

“It is not a bilateral where two councils will hold talks. There was no dialogue between us and the PCB at the Champions Trophy. As it was not on any of the agendas, it was not discussed at the AGM either. There is still time and the ICC will take care of it,” says a top BCCI official.
