Manchester United are in danger of losing Bruno Fernandes this summer as rivals target transfer

Bruno Fernandes is now on Paris Saint-Germain’s transfer radar as speculation over his Manchester United future continues to make headlines.

The Red Devils skipper attracted the attention of some of Europe’s top clubs – such as Bayern Munich and Inter Milan – and even teams in Saudi Arabia during this summer’s transfer window. Despite being linked to Old Trafford until 2026, getting a new deal doesn’t appear to be on United’s agenda right now.

However, if Fernandes stays in the Premier League beyond the transfer window, United could look to secure him on improved terms. At the start of the summer, the 29-year-old said: “I’m not thinking about anything else at the moment. It’s not just up to me. So if you want to be very honest, if you’re thinking about not continuing in the Premier League , only after the Euro.

“A player always has to want to be here, but at the same time you have to want him to stay. At the moment, I feel like there’s that on both sides. I don’t think too much about the future, no lastly, because, obviously, this season has not been at the level we hoped for, neither individually nor collectively, so far”.

Now enjoying a break after playing for Portugal at Euro 2024, Fernandes is ready to decide his next steps – whether to stay with United or embark on a new challenge. With great interest, L’Equipe announce that PSG have now entered the fray.

Manuel Ugarte’s future at the Parc des Princes is up in the air, with United showing an interest. PSG are said to be looking at potential replacements should the Uruguayan decide to leave. As negotiations between the two clubs continue over Ugarte, it remains to be seen whether Fernandes could be part of the deal.

Liverpool.com says: Losing Fernandes would be a huge blow for United, but it may be time for Erik ten Hag’s side to cash in. If United receive a compelling offer for the midfielder, they may accept it. It will be interesting to see how this transfer saga plays out.
