The South Simcoe Police Service is looking for a rightful owner after an honest citizen discovered a substantial amount of cash and turned it over to police.

On Sunday, May 5, 2024, 11-year-old Kaiden and his mother Samantha were riding their scooters along a path in Bradford. Kaiden found a large amount of money that was scattered along the trail and wanted to make sure the money was returned to its owner. Kaiden and his mother went to the police station and turned the money over to the police in hopes that they could find the owner of the found money. Thank you Kaiden and Samantha for being honest and doing the right thing!

The owner must be able to describe the amount and values ​​of the cash. The owner is asked to call the South Simcoe Police 911 number at 705-436-2141 or 905-775-3311.
