Abi in the firing line when Corey returns

Our Coronation Street spoilers reveal that Abi Webster is in for a shock when Corey Brent suddenly recovers – and a sex tape of hers is cruelly leaked.

Football player Corey is currently in prison for the murder of Seb Franklin. But while Abi rages at a documentary about Corey’s football prowess, she’s also horrified to discover someone has shared a sex video of her online.

Are the two things related? And what will Abi do with both of them?

Coronation Street spoilers: Corey is on the box

While watching TV, Abi is horrified to hear a presenter singing the praises of Corey Brent and his football prowess. She is disgusted when Kevin reveals that Corey plays for his prison football team.

After watching a documentary that portrays Corey as a hero, Abi is furious.

After that, Abi goes to the television company responsible for the documentary. Nina, Seb’s ex-girlfriend who was also attacked, is with her. They head to the producer’s office, demanding answers. But will they get any?

Later, Nina and Abi take solace from the supportive comments on the Gazette website. They are pleased to see that a petition has been started calling for the documentary to be scrapped.

Horrible news when Dean returns

In what turns out to be a difficult week for Abi, her next challenge comes when drug dealer Dean calls the garage. He tells her he’s hit a bad patch and needs her help. As Abi sends him packing, Cassie watches.

Meanwhile, everything is happening for Abi when, in the office, Tyrone opens an email – and is horrified by its contents. He tells Abi that someone emailed a sex tape with her.

Abi is horrified to see that someone has also uploaded the sex video on other websites. She goes to fix it, thinking she knows exactly who is responsible.

Cassie later tells Kevin that she saw Abi arguing with Dean, the drug dealer, shortly before the video was released – and then heard her arrange to hand over cash.

Abi answers

Later, Abi meets Dean. Brandishing a key, she accuses him of making sex tapes.

Dean tells him he has no idea what he’s talking about. Still livid, Abi doesn’t believe him.

Kevin comes in and tells Abi to throw away the key. As the police take Dean in for questioning, Abi learns that someone has uploaded four more videos.

However, as she studies the footage, Abi realizes that it’s not really her – the videos are all deep fakes.

So who does this to him? is it dean Or does it have something to do with Corey being imprisoned? What will Abi do about it?
