Barbour is set to unveil its city debut at Redical’s Victoria Leeds

Victoria Leeds, which is owned and managed by Redical, has announced that British heritage and lifestyle brand Barbour will unveil the city’s first standalone store in the Victoria Quarter, showcasing the brand’s new ‘heritage’ design concept.

Covering 2,679 sq ft and spanning two floors, Victoria Leeds’ debut Barbour store will mark the brand’s first new ‘heritage’ retail store outside of London and will feature the traditional menswear collections and women. Located at 9-11 King Edward Street in the Victoria Quarter, the store concept will complement and enhance the original character and heritage of the Grade II listed property, presenting an industrial yet refined space that speaks to the craftsmanship of the brand.

Set to open in the coming months, the store will mark the city’s first stand-alone Barbour store and will complement the premium destination’s group of top British brands including Vivienne Westwood, Mulberry, Boodles and Penhaligons, cementing Victoria Leeds’ position as a leading retail destination with UK retail and showing its ability to attract the brand’s best debuts.

Rachel Bradburn, Leasing Director at Victoria Leeds, commented: “Victoria Leeds has always been a home for top British and independent brands, but since Redical’s new ownership, we have seen a significant change. Our impressive performance so far this year, along with the arrival of prestigious brands such as Barbour with their newest concept store, exemplifies this drive. This latest signing is yet another example of Victoria Leeds being the destination of choice for high caliber brands looking for a premium location with a proven loyal customer base. We are very excited for the new Barbour store to open later this summer!”

This news follows the recent announcement that responsibly made contemporary demi-fine jewelery brand Missoma is to open its second permanent flagship store this summer in Victoria Leeds. The 2,250 sq ft Victoria Quarter boutique, which will mark a regional debut and the first stand-alone Missoma space outside of London, will stock the brand’s collection of iconic pieces in gold and silver, forever styles in 14ct solid gold – handcrafted with diamonds, conflict-free emeralds. , baroque pearls and blue sapphires – as well as a number of collaborations.
