Live: Air Ambulance lands on Torpoint School field

An air ambulance has reportedly landed on a school field in Torpoint this evening (Tuesday, July 23). Footage from the scene also shows two ambulances and an unmarked police car on Trevol Road.

The air ambulance would have landed on the grounds of the Carbeile Junior School. It was seen flying towards the area around 19.15.

There is not believed to be a cordon in the area. We’ll keep you updated on the situation in the live blog below.

What we know so far

The air ambulance was spotted in the skies over Torpoint heading for Wilcove at around 7.15am. It was then reported to have landed on the Carbeile Junior School field at around 19.50.

Along with the air ambulance, an unmarked police car and two ambulances are also at the scene. We’ll bring you new updates as we get them in the blog below.

Police and paramedics on scene

Police and paramedics were also found at the scene. An unmarked police car and two ambulances were photographed parked on Trevol Road, outside Carbeile Junior School, at around 7.50pm.
