Elderly man robbed in Coventry getting on bus as three people searched

Police have launched a manhunt for three suspects after an elderly man was robbed in Coventry. It happened when he was getting on a bus on The Burges.

Detectives investigating the incident said the victim’s wallet was taken from his pockets while boarding the 5A bus at The Burges. The money was stolen, according to Coventry Police.



It happened around 12.30 on Sunday, March 24. Anyone who recognizes the three people pictured has been urged to call 101.

A Coventry Police spokesman said: “Do you recognize these people? We want to speak to them after an elderly man was robbed of money in Coventry.

“At 12.30pm on March 24, the man boarded the 5A bus at The Burges stop, where his wallet was taken from his pockets and the contents stolen. If you were in the area at the time or think you can help identify this trio, please contact us on 101 or Live Chat quoting crime number 20/330921/24.”
