Brent Barry hired by Suns as assistant coach

The Phoenix Suns hired Brent Barry as an assistant coach under Mike Budenholzer. Barry has spent the past six seasons working in the San Antonio Spurs front office after previously working in the media. Barry served as Vice President of Basketball Operations in 2018 and then became General Manager of the Austin Spurs in 2023.

Brown played in the NBA for 14 seasons with the LA Clippers, Miami Heat, Chicago Bulls, Seattle SuperSonics, San Antonio Spurs and Houston Rockets.
