Callum Hudson-Odoi scores to help Nottingham Forest beat Millwall 2-1

Ghanaian-born England striker Callum Hudson-Odoi was on the scoresheet on Tuesday night as Nottingham Forest beat Millwall 2-1.

The English Premier League side and the lower tier team faced off in a friendly on Tuesday as part of preparations for the 2024/25 football season.

In a game that produced three goals, experienced striker Chris Wood had the first say when his 16th-minute goal sent Nottingham Forest into the lead.

Later in the second half, Ghanaian winger Callum Hudson-Odoi showed his composure in front of goal and scored in the 53rd minute to double the English Premier League side’s lead.

Although Millwall managed to pull one back as proceedings wore on, it wasn’t enough to deny Nottingham Forest a 2-1 lead at the end of the friendly.

Following his goal on Tuesday, Callum Hudson-Odoi looks to be in fine form ahead of next season.
