Jadon Sancho’s transfer plan as PSG’s second Manchester United ‘target’

Paris Saint-Germain are planning moves for two Manchester United players this summer. That’s according to new reports from Europe looking into PSG’s discussed interest in Jadon Sancho and Bruno Fernandes.

Sancho faces a particularly uncertain future at Old Trafford. The former Borussia Dortmund striker was sidelined last season after that public row with manager Erik ten Hag – although Sancho returned to training and played for United during their pre-season friendly win over Rangers at Murrayfield on Saturday afternoon.

Interest from the big-spending French side in Sancho is cited by Foot Mercato.

According to the article, which has been reported by other publications, Sancho is potentially open to a move to PSG as United look to generate funds for their own recruitment drive. Despite positive talks with Ten Hag on his return to Carrington, a permanent departure could still be on the cards for the 24-year-old.

PSG are reportedly not drawing the line on Sancho either, with French publication L’Equipe drawing up a bid for United captain Fernandes this summer. The 29-year-old remains a key man for United, though, so any interest from the Parisians could be quickly rebuffed by INEOS.

Elsewhere, reports from Italian publication Gazzetta dello Sport believe United-linked Youssouf Fofana is edging closer to joining AC Milan from AS Monaco this summer. The Manchester Evening News understands United are keen to sign another defensive midfielder to provide cover and competition for Ten Hag.
