Oktoberfest is coming to Liverpool with two day ‘extravaganza’

Oktoberfest returns to Liverpool with ‘surprises’ in store for beer lovers.

Originating in Munich, Oktoberfest events featuring beer and carnival are now held all over the world. Organizers of Oktoberfest Liverpool described its event as “a two-day extravaganza with live music, pints of beer, bratwurst, pretzels and lots of lederhosen”.

The celebration of Bavarian culture will take place at the Exhibition Centre, following an indoor debut last year that saw thousands of people attend.

Paul Laing from Oktoberfest Liverpool said: “After last year’s success we are once again looking forward to bringing a taste of Munich’s famous festival to Liverpool’s waterfront.

“With one of the biggest bars, a themed funhouse and more surprises to be announced in the coming weeks, it’s already shaping up to be a fun weekend with a Bavarian twist.”

Colm Graham, Head of Partnerships, Hospitality and Exhibition Sales, ACC Liverpool, said: “We are delighted to welcome Oktoberfest Liverpool to what is becoming a key date in the calendar for people to dust off their shoes and enjoy of a party full of fun. , Bavarian knee up.

“It may be October with the unpredictable British weather, but that’s why holding the event in a climate-controlled and safe environment has proved so popular with thousands of attendees.

“With live music, traditional Bavarian music and party games, it will be an experience not to be missed.”

Oktoberfest Liverpool will return on the weekend of October 19th and 20th. Sessions take place on Saturday and Sunday, more details to be announced.

Other Oktoberfest celebrations in Liverpool have been announced. Liverpool’s Bierkeller ONE has confirmed it is “busy planning Oktoberfest 2024”, with further details to be confirmed. Meanwhile, three special Oktoberfest editions of Bingo Lingo will take place this October at Camp and Furnace in the Baltic Triangle.
