Rylan Clark fans say ‘gorgeous’ as he ditches dark locks in ‘summer’ update.

Rylan Clark has been inundated with compliments as he ditched his dark locks for a sunnier barnet. The BBC Radio 2 star took to social media earlier in the week when he was spotted with paint covering his steps.

He sat in the garden of his stunning Essex home as he let the color develop. Alongside a stern-faced selfie, Rylan wrote to his millions of fans and followers: “And wot!”

It wasn’t until Tuesday morning (July 23) that she showed off the results and shared how she added a bit of blonde to her black locks as she made the most of the warm, sunny weather.

He shared a video to his Instagram story of him standing outside and moving his head around to show off his new activity before taking his grid to heart with a smiling selfie. “Summer,” his 2.2 million followers simply captioned the post.

And it didn’t take long for the comments to roll in. @porridgeface said: “Handsome man, in ALL ways.” @mindmouthsoul commented: “I love that hair on you.” @charl0ttesayshi gushed: “SUMMER STUNNER!!”

@annalowrijones wrote: “Wonderful.” @natalie.penfold.96 shared: “You look great. I love the highlights.” @olliesykes98 posted: “God @rylan is so awesome.” @emmalfawcett added: “Love it – you look great.”

Others, meanwhile, pointed out how much the makeover made him look like his beloved mother, Linda. @sharonmack501 said: “Nice shot. You look just like your mother.” @lgreenston wrote: “This is awesome and I can see your awesome mom here.” @jill_munslow added: “Just like your mum about it!”

It comes weeks after Rylan stunned fans when he showed them his ‘real’ look for the first time. He took to Instagram with a selfie where he could be seen fresh-faced and wearing auburn tresses. His eyebrows and beard remained on the darker side as he stared into the camera with his piercing blue eyes.

Captioning the post, the TV and radio star explained: “I took my hair off to reset it. For anyone wondering, this is what I look like without color and makeup.”

And it didn’t take long for the comments to roll in. Radio 2 pal Sally Boazman aka Sally Traffic said: “I knew the real Rylan was in there somewhere!!! You look amazing”. Loose Women’s Katie Piper commented: “Youth”, while Dame Kelly Holmes shared: “Lovely eyes”. Good Morning Britain’s Richard Arnold simply added: “Food.”
