£5 Bradford Bulls Match Ticket Incentive

Barrow Raiders have announced a £5 ticket incentive for supporters ahead of their next home game against Bradford Bulls on Sunday 4th August.

The club, along with main sponsors Northern Competitions, will fund discounted entry for the Betfred Championship match, with entry also including the Betfred Women’s Super League clash between Barrow Ladies and St Helens earlier in the day (12pm).

As part of the incentive, juniors can attend both matches for free, with no ticket required to enter the stadium.

Following the action on the pitch, the club is delighted to welcome talented local musician Leon Knight to the MKM Marquee to perform a live set for supporters.

Paul Crarey’s Raiders returned to winning ways on home soil during their most recent outing in Cumbria, beating Sheffield Eagles 8-6 earlier in the month.

There are just five regular season home games remaining, with the campaign concluding at the Northern Competitions Stadium against Widnes Vikings on Sunday 29 September.

The club appreciates that season ticket holders will not benefit from this offer, but we are actively working on a gesture to please them.

Also, when we offer discounted entry to our ladies matches, we are trying to raise awareness so that they will soon have games in their own right with crowds that bring serious income to the club.

Regarding the ticket incentives, Barrow Raiders chairman Steve Neale said: “We have been looking at the feasibility of organizing such a ticket offer for a number of weeks. With the support of Northern Competitions, I am delighted that it has come to fruition.

“We’re always looking at ways to get more people into the ground and create a better atmosphere on match day.

“I’m sure Bradford will be traveling in their numbers for this game and I hope our own supporters can also get behind the team as we look to move further up the division rather than looking over our shoulders.
