Dog units deployed to abandon Nottingham office premises as travelers pick up

Following the arrival of the travelers last week, watch dog units were deployed at the premises of a derelict office in Nottingham. The group reportedly arrived at Riverleen House, Riverside Business Park on Friday July 19 and remained at the site over the weekend.

They had vacated the 7.45 acre site, previously used by business services company Experian, by Tuesday (July 23) afternoon. When Nottinghamshire Live visited the scene, members of a private security firm were present.

Three dog units were parked around the site, including two off Centurion Way. Two concrete barriers had been knocked over on their sides at the access point.

A security worker said they were called to the scene to evacuate the travelers, who had left earlier in the day. He said they caused damage to both the exterior and interior of the buildings.

Experian said it worked with local authorities to remove the trips. A spokesman said: “We can confirm that the Riverleen House property was trespassed over the weekend and we are working with local authorities to help resolve the issue.” Nottinghamshire Police have been contacted for comment.
