Nottingham Forest transfer ‘rejection’ may boost key man as warning sent over big name signing

Pre-season has provided a positive glimpse of what Nottingham Forest could be capable of in the upcoming Premier League campaign.

Head coach Nuno Espirito Santo seems to have put the time on the training ground to good use with his players and there is a strong sense of team spirit within the group. The Reds’ summer signings also appear to have settled quickly.

The business Forest have done so far in the transfer window has been good. New additions Carlos Miguel, Elliot Anderson, Eric da Silva Moreira and Nikola Milenkovic all bring something to the table.

However, there is still work to be done to put the finishing touches on Nuno’s squad. Below, we take a look at some of the latest transfer rumors doing the rounds.

Williams wanted

Much has been said about the futures of Murillo, Morgan Gibbs-White, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Anthony Elanga this summer. But another Reds player also appears to be a wanted man.

West Ham United reportedly rejected a bid for defender Neco Williams earlier this summer. According to HITC, Forest rejected the Hammers’ bid as they have “no intention” of letting the right-back go.
