McDonald’s is bringing back a £3 summer special

McDonald’s is bringing back a special money-saving offer that will set customers back just £3 this summer.

The Mix n’ Match menu will allow customers to choose any three items for a total of £3 for one month only this summer. From July 31, customers can choose from a selection of eight products to create their own combo meal, with the potential to make 100 possible food combinations.

Overall, customers can choose from three of the following eight items for just £3:

  • Small fries
  • Cheeseburger
  • Hamburger
  • Chicken Mayo
  • 4 Nuggets
  • Apple pie
  • Vegetable tools
  • Salad

Meanwhile, breakfast packs will also be available for eight weeks from 31 July, allowing customers to buy a single Sausage and Egg or Egg McMudding with a regular hot drink, soft drink or bottled drink, for just £2. £79. This offer, however, will only be available every day until 11:00 AM.

For a few days only, customers will also be able to grab a Happy Meal a day for just £1.99 via the McDonald’s app. This offer will last until Tuesday, July 30, however, and represents a 40% drop on the average Happy Meal price.

It comes just weeks after McDonald’s unveiled a brand new menu with some never-before-seen items. Some of the newcomers to the list included two McFlurries, Milkybar Raspberry Ripple and a Munchies Cookie Dough. Priced at £1.59 for a small, or £2.19 for a regular size, the Milkybar Raspberry Ripple McFlurry combines ice cream with mini Milkybar chocolate drops, topped with a raspberry sauce.

The menu has also brought a special birthday donut for £1.99 in celebration of McDonald’s anniversary. There were also a number of savory treats including Cheesy Garlic Bread Dippers, which cost £2.39 for a pack of four and £6.49 for a larger box.

The McCrispy BBQ Smoker is also back at £5.59 alongside the Double Big Mac with Bacon costing £5.39. The new range, which celebrates McDonald’s 50th anniversary in the UK, will only be available on menus for a few weeks, so customers are being urged to act quickly to try the latest items.
