The outdoor pool near Coventry that the kids love so much they don’t want to leave

There’s no better way to cool off this summer than visiting an outdoor pool. Kids love splashing around in the water, dipping their toes and burning off some energy and it’s a great family day out for the summer holidays.

An outdoor pool in Warwick is also an ideal place for a day out with the family, including swimming, boating and adventure mini golf. St Nicholas Park is a 40 acre park that includes an adventure play area and cafe.




The park has stunning views of Warwick Castle and has large areas for picnics, ball games and kite flying. You can also enjoy a walk along the river or rent boats to see the beautiful grounds of the castle.

The outdoor pool at St Nicholas Park is suitable for children aged 12 and under. The pool is described as “shallow” and “safe” and perfect for kids looking to cool off in the hot weather, so don’t forget to bring your swimsuits when you visit the park.

There is also a seating area on the sides where adults can relax while the children splash about. It is recommended not to leave children unattended in the pool area. The outdoor pool is now open until September from 9am to 7.30pm.

In addition to the pool, there is also an 18-hole miniature golf course, a play area, a funfair with roundabouts, games and bouncy castles, a skate park and BMX track, a floodlit AstroTurf pitch and a leisure center with Fitness room with 80 stations, gym, swimming pool and climbing wall.

For those waiting to stop for refreshments, The St Nicholas Park Tea Shop is the ideal place to grab a snack, a hot meal, an ice cream or a warm cup of tea. They also offer a wide range of alcoholic drinks as well as coffee, smoothies and cold drinks, plus fries, sandwiches and snacks. Indoor and outdoor seating is available.
