Two mobile phones and £350 were also seized

A man has been arrested after police found suspected Class A drugs in Aldershot.

Hampshire Police say they stopped the escapees while on patrol in a wooded area off Redan Road.

Officers found more than 50 packages of suspected Class A drugs, as well as two mobile phones and £350 in cash.

A 29-year-old man from Croydon was questioned on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a Class A controlled drug.

He has been released on conditions as inquiries continue.
